2000 Girls White Win U15 CGSL Cup

September 24, 2015

Over the weekend, our 2000 Girls White headed to Port Perry to compete for the chance to be crowned CGSL Cup champions. Our Raiders, coached by Kaelyn Greenland and Andy King, booked their place in the CGSL finals weekend after defeating the Leaside Tigers 4-0 back in August.

Our Raiders kicked off the weekend on Saturday morning with a quarter final match up against Etobicoke. The girls showed they came to play, putting on a near perfect performance and coming away with a 3-0 victory. The win moved the girls on to the semi finals, where they impressed once again, defeating North Toronto by a score of 2-0.

The victory booked our Raiders a spot in the CGSL Cup final, where they would be matched up against a tough Bradford Eagles squad. In what was truly a tight, back and forth game, our Raiders demonstrated incredible determination and teamwork, battling to a 2-1 victory and emerging as U15 CSGL Cup champions.

Congratulations to our 2000 Girls White on their CGSL Cup victory!
