Rep Goalkeeper Training

RHSC Goalkeeper Training will be led by our Club's Goalkeeper Coach, Rasih Pala. 

The Goalkeeper Program will be assisted by: Elisa Lapadula and Michael Argyrides.

Rasih Pala

Since early 2017, Coach Rasih has been responsible for working with all RHSC Goalkeepers. His playing experience as a goalkeeper is most notable, as he played professionally in the Turkish Second Division after spending 4 seasons as an NCAA Division 1 athlete at Northern Illinois University, playing both Goalkeeper and Attacking Midfield. Rasih, also represented Canada at the CONCACAF U17 Championships and won a National Championship with the Ontario Provincial Team. He spent his entire youth career playing for local clubs within the Greater Toronto Area.

Coach Rasih is currently completing his Canada Soccer B License. He holds his Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Diploma and has experience in facilitating the Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Diploma course for coaches throughout the province. 

Elisa Lapadula 

In 2019, Coach Elisa took over the starting goalkeeper position in her senior year with the Ryerson Rams. One of only three goalkeepers in the OUA to start all 16 games for her team, she was voted 2018 team MVP after an outstanding season. Coach Elisa was named one of Ryerson's Stars of the Week on September 18, 2018, and was also named Ryerson's Female Athlete of the Week on September 4, 2018.

Prior to playing at Ryerson University, Elisa played for the Toronto Lynx Soccer Academy. She won an Ontario Cup and won the Ontario Summer Games in 2012. She was selected to the Super-Y Olympic Development Program All-Star team in 2013, and selected as the Super-Y North American Finals All-Star in 2014.

Coach Elisa has recently obtained her Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Diploma course and is an Assistant Goalkeeper Coach at the Richmond Hill Soccer Club.

Michael Argyrides

Coach Michael currently plays for the York University Lions, where he has won two Ontario Gold medals and a Silver medal. This past season, Coach Michael was selected as a First Team All-Star in the OUA.

Michael's goalkeeping and playing career started at the Richmond Hill Soccer Club, where he played 13 seasons, winning 3 Ontario League Championships, as well as one Quebec/Ontario Championship. In 2017, Coach Michael played with the Vaughan Soccer Club and was selected for Team Ontario, to participate in the 2017 Canada Games. In Winnipeg, he won a Gold Medal representing Team Ontario. The past two summers, Michael has played for Vaughan Azzurri in League 1 Ontario.

Coach Michael has recently obtained his Ontario Soccer Goalkeeper Diploma course and is an Assistant Goalkeeper Coach for the Richmond Hill Soccer Club.
