RHSC’s recreational programs emphasize skill development, fair play, teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, responsibility, and fun. Each participant should be provided the opportunity to play in every game, and play different positions on the field/court. The RHSC is dedicated to being a leader in coach/manager education and development, which is why we ensure numerous clinics, as well as a variety of online resources, are made available to help guide our coaches.
The Richmond Hill Soccer Club uses volunteer coaches from the community for our recreational league. Our coaches guide players in learning the skills they need to excel in soccer while also making sure they have fun when they are playing. Volunteer coaches are responsible for facilitating all practices, substitutions, and must stay in communication with their parents and players throughout the season.
Please review our volunteer coach summary, which includes detailed expectations for this role: RHSC House League Volunteer Coach.
If you are interested in being a House League Coach or Assistant Coach please follow these steps:
Please note that you must be at least 16 years old to be a House League Coach and you must complete a Screening Disclosure Form and sign a Concussion Code of Conduct if accepted to be a coach.
