The RHSC Youth Competitive Program provides dedicated players with the opportunity to represent RHSC in a structured environment against other competitive clubs. This programs serves as a key component within our player pathway, allowing players to continue developing their skills with the goal of long-term growth.
The primary focus of the program is to develop well-rounded, competitive soccer players while fostering strong team culture and a love for the game. Under the guidance of RHSC’s licensed and experienced coaching staff, players train and compete in an environment that balances challenge, enjoyment, and accountability. The program follows the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model set out by Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer.
RHSC is a proud holder of the National Youth Club License, and our competitive teams follow a 52-week curriculum developed and delivered by our Technical Staff. Training sessions are carefully planned to ensure a balanced emphasis across the Four Corners of Development:
Sessions place an emphasis on tactical understanding, decision-making, game realism, and team play to prepare athletes for higher levels of competition.
Participation in the Youth Competitive Program is by tryout and selection. Players are expected to demonstrate commitment to training, matches, and team standards, as this program serves as an important pathway toward OPDL and higher performance environments within the club. Players interested in the Youth Competitive Program are encouraged to register for Youth Tryouts.
