Michael is a long-time member of the RHSC family. He first joined RHSC’s Coach Mentorship Program in 2015 before moving into the competitive stream in 2017. Since then, he has gained experience across nearly every area of the club, including House League, Ball Mastery, Kick Start, Summer Camps, Grassroots, Competitive, High Performance, and now the U20 League.
Michael’s connection to RHSC extends beyond coaching. As a player, he progressed through the club’s pathway from the grassroots level all the way to the League1 Reserve team, giving him a unique understanding of the player experience and the development opportunities available within the club.
Reflecting on his coaching journey, Michael shares:
"I coach because it brings me satisfaction to feel connected to the people in my community. Coaching also allows me to express my competitive nature while helping players develop and achieve their goals. RHSC has given me many great memories as both a player and coach, and it has provided me with opportunities to meet great people and grow as a coach and leader. Looking ahead, I hope to continue improving my technical coaching and leadership abilities as I work to progress further along the coaching pathway."
Michael’s extensive experience within RHSC, combined with his passion for player development and continuous learning, make him a valued leader within the club’s High Performance Program.
